Ten innovative ventures will soon face off in Fayetteville for a shot at competing on the global stage. Startup Junkie has announced the finalists for the Arkansas Regional Qualifier of the 2025 Startup World Cup, set for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, at TheatreSquared.
The lineup includes Auxigen, B. Watts Collective, Build-A-Way Inc., EdenNet, Fidari, Hidalga Technologies, Humimic Biosystems, NYX NoCode, Swaply and Tailored Financial Solutions. These startups emerged from a competitive pool of applicants reviewed by first-round judges Tiffany Henry of ACC Capital Foundation, Shan Pesaru of Sharp Hue and Chandler Abbott of Walmart.
Finalists will present live to a panel that includes Chris Seawood of TheatreSquared, Tanya Mims of First National Bank of NWA and Serafina Lalany of StartupNWA. The winner will move on to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in Silicon Valley to compete for a $1 million investment prize.
Fayetteville Mayor Molly Rawn will open the evening’s program, which will also feature a silent auction benefiting the winning team’s travel costs. Auction items range from professional headshot sessions and a startup legal package to local artwork and a luxury houseplant.
The Startup World Cup, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, hosts more than 70 regional competitions across six continents.
