ISLAMABAD, March 30, 2026 — Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has called upon the entire Muslim world to unite and form a strong Islamic bloc, proposing a comprehensive joint agreement covering political, trade and defence cooperation.
Speaking to the media, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Muslim world must rise above its differences and build a unified platform that can effectively represent Islamic interests on the global stage.
“The entire Islamic world should come together to form a strong Islamic bloc,” he stated, adding that the proposed alliance should be anchored by a mutual agreement encompassing political, economic and defence dimensions.
The JUI-F chief further remarked that Pakistan’s role as a host for recent diplomatic talks was a matter of great honour, praising the country’s efforts in facilitating dialogue among Muslim nations.
The call comes at a time of heightened tensions across the Muslim world, with conflicts in the Middle East and growing geopolitical pressures making the case for Islamic solidarity more urgent than ever, according to observers.
