LAHORE: The State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation, Lahore office, organized a webinar focusing on the implementation of the National Financial Education Roadmap across diverse segments in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving economic landscape.
The session opened with remarks by Chief Manager Tariq Riaz, who highlighted the importance of financial education and inclusion in strengthening the country’s economic framework.
Keynote addresses were delivered by Huma Bukhari and Sarfraz Ahmed Nadeem, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to improve financial literacy and expand access to financial services across underserved communities.
The webinar featured a diverse panel of experts, including Sadaffe Abid, Saima Sarwar, Usman Tariq, and Sana Shahid Cheema. Discussions centered on practical strategies for advancing financial inclusion, supporting women entrepreneurs, and enhancing access to finance for small and medium enterprises.
The session was moderated by Mashal Mabood and managed by Shamaila Warraich, ensuring a structured and interactive dialogue among participants.
The webinar attracted broad participation from bankers, academics, students, entrepreneurs, and representatives of key institutions, including SMEDA, Circle Women Association, Government College University Lahore, and major commercial banks.
