The Prime Minister thanked all cabinet members and briefed the Federal Cabinet on Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts and initiatives for de-escalation of tensions in the Gulf and achievement of ceasefire.

The Federal Cabinet paid rich tributes to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, and Chief of Army Staff & Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their relentless efforts in securing the ceasefire and promoting peace in the region.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Federal Cabinet appealed to the nation to offer Sajda-e-Shukr (prostration of gratitude) to Allah Almighty on Friday for the positive outcomes of Pakistan’s efforts and to offer special prayers for the transformation of the ceasefire into lasting peace as well as for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
Cabinet members described Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and the widespread international appreciation they have received as historic. They reiterated their strong resolve to work diligently for the country’s economic development.
