The Asian Development Bank has released its latest economic outlook for Pakistan, noting a gradual recovery while warning that significant risks persist.
According to the report, Pakistan’s GDP growth rate is projected at 3.5% for the current fiscal year, rising to 4.5% in the next fiscal year. On inflation, the ADB forecasts a rate of 6.4% in FY2026, edging up slightly to 6.5% in FY2027.
The bank cautioned that ongoing tensions in the Middle East pose a threat to inflation and could add further pressure on Pakistan’s economy.
