PMA Lahore President Prof Shahid Malik Congratulates Newly Elected Leadership of Society of Surgeons

Lahore: President of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Lahore, Professor Shahid Malik, has congratulated Professor Farooq Ahmed Rana, Dr Ahmed Naeem Akhtar, and their entire cabinet on their victory in the recent elections of the Society of Surgeons.
Describing the success of the Reformers Panel as a significant milestone, Prof Shahid Malik said it reflects the strong confidence of the surgeons’ community in their leadership. He extended his best wishes and expressed hope that the new leadership would introduce positive reforms within the Society.
He further stated that the Society of Surgeons plays a crucial role in the professional development of surgeons across the country, adding that under the new leadership, both academic standards and practical training are expected to improve.
According to Prof Shahid Malik, these reforms will not only enhance the quality of training programs but also bring substantial benefits to the medical community and patients alike.
