Lady Constable Malik Naz Baloch, the first female police constable from Balochistan to be martyred in a terrorist attack, was performing her duty when terrorists attacked a police party in the Bajoi area of Khuzdar. During the intense exchange of fire, she laid down her life in defense of the motherland along with another policeman.
In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred constable and extended heartfelt condolences to her family, seeking patience and solace (sabr-e-jameel) for them.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s firm resolve: “We will continue the war against the menace of terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country.”
