Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif graced the final match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) with his presence at the historic Qaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Accompanied by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, the Prime Minister warmly shook hands with players from both finalist teams. Prior to the start of the match, a commemorative photograph was taken featuring PM Shehbaz Sharif, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, and the captains of the two competing teams.
Addressing the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the hard work, dedication, and performance of both teams that reached the PSL final. He extended his best wishes to both sides for an exciting and high-quality contest.
Federal ministers including Muhammad Aurangzeb, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Attaullah Tarar, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Abdul Aleem Khan, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, and Special Assistant Talha Burki were also present with the Prime Minister.
The high-profile attendance reflects the government’s strong support for sports, particularly cricket, which remains Pakistan’s most popular sport.
