ISLAMABAD — The Islamabad High Court has reserved its decision on the maintainability of appeals filed by PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the £190 million case, fixing May 7 as the next date of hearing for the main appeals.
The court issued its reserved ruling and directed that substantive arguments on the appeals will be heard on May 7.
In a separate but related matter, the court ordered the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to decide within two days on a petition filed by Bushra Bibi’s daughter, seeking access of a personal physician to the former first lady and permission for family visits.
The £190 million case relates to alleged corruption involving funds received from the UK’s National Crime Agency as part of a settlement with Pakistani property tycoon Malik Riaz.
