LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem held a meeting with police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office, where he personally listened to their grievances and issued immediate orders for their resolution.
During the meeting, the mother of martyred Constable Imtiaz Hussain submitted an application requesting the recruitment of her grandson in the Police Department along with financial assistance. The IGP directed the Additional IG Punjab to process the matter on priority.
On the request of Lady Constable Rukhsana Hussain for restoration of her service, the IG Punjab issued orders to DIG Establishment-I to provide necessary relief.
The wife of martyred Constable Akhtar Abbas requested provision of a house, upon which the IGP directed the Additional IG Punjab to take prompt action. Similarly, the wife of martyred Constable Muhammad Sadiq also requested a house, and the matter was referred to DIG Welfare and Finance for immediate consideration.
IGP Abdul Kareem also issued necessary orders on other applications concerning discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare issues.
The Inspector General assured all applicants that the welfare of police personnel and their families remains a top priority for Punjab Police.
