Islamabad: In a significant development for the media community, the Islamabad Union of Journalists (IUJ) has signed a landmark agreement with Akbar Naizi Teaching Hospital to provide quality healthcare at special discounted rates for journalists and their families.


Under the pact, IUJ members and their dependents will enjoy exclusive concessions on OPD services, laboratory tests, emergency care, indoor admission, and a wide range of medical facilities.
Chairman Shah Nawaz Khan, President Fayyaz Tanoli, and General Secretary Sardar Sajjad Tariq of IUJ hailed the agreement, stating that journalists are the backbone of society and deserve practical support for their health and wellbeing. They expressed gratitude to the hospital administration and hoped this partnership would open doors for further collaboration in the future.
The administration of Akbar Naizi Teaching Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to delivering timely and high-quality medical services to journalists so they can continue performing their professional duties without hindrance.
