Germany has launched its largest Islamic conference today, a three-day event regarded as one of Europe’s most significant religious and spiritual gatherings of Muslims.
This year, around 40,000 participants are expected to attend, arriving not only from across Germany but also from other European countries. Men, women, children, and elders are gathering in a vast open field specially arranged with tents and facilities for the occasion.
The conference will feature speeches and discussions on themes such as religion, peace, tolerance, and interfaith harmony. International scholars and speakers are set to highlight Islam’s message of love and peace, with particular emphasis on human fraternity, social cohesion, and justice as guided by the teachings of the Qur’an.
According to the organizers, alongside prayers, Qur’an recitations, and scholarly sessions, cultural and family-oriented activities have also been planned. Transport and accommodation arrangements have been made for attendees, while security authorities are working closely with the organizers to ensure a peaceful environment.
The conference, held annually, continues to expand in scale and influence. Organizers say its aim is not only to strengthen unity and spiritual growth among Muslims but also to present the true message of Islam to the wider German society.
