Panjgur/Rawalpindi — Pakistani security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, killing six terrorists affiliated with Indian proxy outfit Fitna al-Hindustan and destroying multiple militant hideouts, the military’s media wing said Thursday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out on the nights of June 3 and 4 following confirmed intelligence reports about the presence of Fitna al-Hindustan operatives in the area. Security forces recovered weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment from the destroyed hideouts.
ISPR stated that Fitna al-Hindustan operates under Indian sponsorship with the aim of destabilizing Pakistan, and that security forces remain committed to neutralizing all elements posing a threat to national security.
The operation is part of an ongoing counter-terrorism campaign in Balochistan, where security forces have intensified operations against militant groups allegedly backed by hostile foreign entities.
