LAHORE: Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain, Medical Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital (LGH), has emphasized the urgent need to enhance the professional skills of young doctors to ensure the delivery of modern and effective healthcare to children.
Addressing a specialized training workshop titled “Pediatric Ventilation and Management of Critically Ill Children,” Dr. Faryad Hussain said that regular training workshops are essential for improving the standards of pediatric treatment and strengthening critical care services for children.
The workshop, organized by the Pediatric Critical Care team, was attended by a large number of senior faculty members and young doctors, including Prof. Muhammad Shahid, Prof. Hassan Suleman and other medical experts.
Speakers highlighted that such training initiatives help align clinical practices with the latest medical research and modern technologies. The sessions focused on advanced ventilation strategies in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs), innovative respiratory support technologies and evidence-based approaches to managing critically ill children.
