The 31-year-old swimmer began the challenge in Frankfurt on Tuesday morning and arrived in Cologne on Friday afternoon. She did not swim continuously for four days; instead, she alternated with other swimmers and took breaks at night.
The challenge aimed to raise awareness about the importance of water safety for children and collect donations for swimming projects and training programmes. Organisers said the campaign raised approximately €616,000
