MD Horticulture Reviews Upgradation of Bagh-e-Jinnah Facilities

LAHORE: Managing Director of the Horticulture Agency Lahore, Ahmad Usman Javed, visited Bagh-e-Jinnah and reviewed horticulture work, park facilities and arrangements for citizens.

During the visit, Project Director Jaleel Ahmad briefed the Managing Director on ongoing horticulture activities and other matters related to the historic park.

Ahmad Usman Javed inspected various lawns, including Gulistan-e-Fatima, and visited the Baradari, Lawn Tennis Club, Cosmo Club and Ladies Club.

He directed the preparation of a comprehensive plan for the upgradation of the Baradari to further enhance the beauty of the historic site and improve facilities for visitors.

The Managing Director also directed that facilities at the Lawn Tennis Club be further improved to provide quality sports facilities to citizens.

He ordered the repainting of children’s swings and directed officials to add new plants and colorful flowers to the park’s lawns to enhance the overall beauty of Bagh-e-Jinnah.

Ahmad Usman Javed directed the concerned officers to pay special attention to horticulture work, cleanliness, lighting, recreational and sports facilities, and other public amenities to provide citizens with a clean, beautiful and pleasant environment.
