SANAA Yemen’s internationally recognised government forces said they carried out 756 attacks on Houthi positions at various locations over the past 72 hours, claiming a total of 2,316 Houthis killed or wounded.
In a statement, the army said six drone experts, reportedly Iranian nationals, were among those killed in Taiz province. The statement described the losses as the biggest suffered by the Houthis during the recent escalation, with most casualties in Taiz.
Government forces said air strikes hit Houthi fighters’ gatherings and positions in the Taiz city of Mocha, while drones targeted Houthi vehicles and assemblies in the northern province of al-Jawf.
The figures are claims by the government side and have not been independently verified.
