LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth has reviewed ongoing construction, rehabilitation and repair work on the carriageway of Lahore’s Ring Road Northern Loop.

The minister chaired a meeting during which officials of the Ring Road Authority briefed him on the progress of various development and rehabilitation projects.

According to the briefing, seal coat work is under way on the main carriageway of the Northern Loop, alongside road rehabilitation and durability improvement works.

Rehabilitation of the service road from Quaid-e-Azam Road to LEBP is also in progress, officials informed the meeting.

They further stated that sub-base work under Packages I, II and III of the service road rehabilitation project had been completed.

Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth said practical measures were being taken to rehabilitate roads, improve infrastructure and provide better travel facilities to commuters.

He emphasised the importance of ongoing development and maintenance work in improving road conditions and facilitating smoother journeys for motorists.
