Beirut — President Michel Aoun received eight newly appointed Lebanese ambassadors before their departure to take up foreign postings, urging them to project Lebanon’s image as a unified state on the international stage.
“Lebanon has returned to the international arena after a long absence,” Aoun said, calling on the envoys to represent all components of Lebanese society “without sectarian or partisan discrimination” and to prioritize national interest above all else.
