Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has categorically rejected Indian media claims suggesting that the clause declaring the Pakistani passport “not valid for travel to Israel” has been removed.
Several Indian news outlets recently alleged that Pakistan had made changes to its passport policy by dropping the restriction related to Israel.
Refuting the reports, Pakistan’s Foreign Office stated that no such modification has been made, and the passport continues to carry the phrase: “Valid for all countries except Israel.”
The Director General of Passports reaffirmed that the clause remains unchanged, emphasizing that there are no plans under consideration to alter this policy.
In a separate statement, the Ministry of Information reiterated Pakistan’s long-standing and unwavering stance on Israel, clarifying that Pakistan has never recognized Israel and no form of military or diplomatic cooperation is being considered.
