LAHORE, Pakistan — Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Sports & Energy, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, has inaugurated a new phase of educational development in constituency PP-168 by laying the foundation stone for an additional classroom block at Government Primary School Gopay Raay. The Chief of Development, Umair Saif Khokhar, was also present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, the Minister commended Umair Saif Khokhar and Education Coordinator Saqlain Yousaf for their sustained efforts to improve educational standards in the constituency. He said that strengthening school infrastructure and ensuring a quality learning environment for children remains a key priority of the Punjab government.
The Provincial Minister announced a series of new initiatives for Government Primary School Gopay Raay, including the installation of solar panels, complete upgradation of the school, and the distribution of gifts among students. He said these measures will not only raise the quality of education but will also help transform the school into an energy-efficient and self-sustaining institution.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar also acknowledged the dedication of School Principal Zain Maqsood, praising her commitment, discipline, and compassion toward students. He noted that educators like her play a vital role in shaping the nation’s future.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to development in PP-168, the Minister said that ongoing projects reflect the administration’s resolve to deliver on its promises. He assured that the pace of development work in the constituency will continue to accelerate in the coming days.
