Lahore, Pakistan By Farzana Choudhray– The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has announced a landmark three-day international medical conference scheduled for May 2026, bringing together thousands of healthcare professionals from across Pakistan and delegations from multiple countries.
The PMA International Grand Medical Conference 2026 will take place from May 15-17, 2026, at a hotel venue in Lahore, marking what organizers describe as “the largest medical gathering in the entire region.”
Professor Dr. Shahid Malik, President of PMA Lahore and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, announced the conference at a press briefing on Monday, emphasizing the association’s commitment to advancing medical knowledge and fostering international collaboration.
“This will not just be a conference, but the largest medical gathering in the entire region,” Dr. Malik said. “Our aim is to present Pakistan as an influential center on the world medical map and connect our doctors with colleagues from around the world.”
International Participation
The conference is expected to attract delegates from the World Medical Association (WMA), the Confederation of Medical Associations in Asia and Oceania (CMAAO), Central Asian countries, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Participants will include senior consultants, professors, key opinion leaders, hospital administrators, policymakers, and allied health professionals representing all major medical and surgical specialties in Pakistan.
