Washington, DC: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a meeting with US Representative Robert B. Aderholt (R-AL), a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee.
The meeting took place ahead of the National Prayer Breakfast and focused primarily on interfaith harmony, religious tolerance, and the promotion of religious freedom.
The two leaders also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States, enhance parliamentary exchanges, and explore cooperation in the areas of primary healthcare and education.
Several proposals were exchanged during the discussion aimed at advancing collaboration in these priority sectors.
Senator Akbar Khawaja was also present during the meeting.
The engagement reflects ongoing efforts to deepen people-to-people and parliamentary-level ties between the two countries.
