Overseas Pakistani Women Promoting Positive Image of Pakistan Worldwide: Saman Rai

LAHORE: A dignified ceremony was held at the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab to mark International Women’s Day, highlighting the contributions of women, particularly overseas Pakistanis, in promoting a positive image of the country around the world.
The event was chaired by Saman Rai, Commissioner of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab, and was attended by a large number of overseas Pakistani women. Among others present were Director Admin Amir Ahmed Khan and Director Police Imtiaz Ahmed Khan, along with overseas women participants and officials.
The ceremony paid tribute to the remarkable contributions and achievements of women in various fields of life.
Addressing the gathering, Saman Rai stated that women are the fundamental pillar of any society’s development. She emphasized that overseas Pakistani women are playing a significant role in projecting a positive image of Pakistan abroad and are making the nation proud through their achievements across different sectors.
She further reaffirmed that the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab will continue to strengthen its efforts to resolve the issues faced by overseas Pakistani women and provide them with effective guidance and support.
Participants at the ceremony highlighted that the progress and prosperity of any society depend on the active participation of women. They also appreciated the role of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab in addressing the concerns of overseas Pakistanis, particularly women, through effective initiatives.
