ISLAMABAD — Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi worked late into the night reviewing important administrative affairs, public grievances, and professional policing standards.
During this time, he held a significant meeting with AIG Investigation/Complaints Syed Inayat Ali Shah and AIG Legal Tahir Kazim, in which detailed deliberations were held on ongoing investigations, legal matters, resolution of citizen complaints, and ensuring timely delivery of justice.
IGP Islamabad issued clear directives to the concerned officers, stating that no negligence or delay in the protection of citizens’ lives and property, or in the delivery of justice, will be tolerated under any circumstances.
He specifically instructed that:
Public complaints must be addressed on a priority basis
Pending cases must be resolved on merit without unnecessary delay
All legal requirements must be strictly observed during investigations
The IGP reaffirmed his commitment that Islamabad Police will continue to fulfil its responsibilities in accordance with the principles of rule of law, transparency, and public service excellence, living up to the trust placed in it by the citizens of the federal capital.
