ISLAMABAD — Pakistani pilgrims performing Hajj 2026 have lodged a flood of complaints with Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf over what they described as deeply inadequate arrangements, also announcing their intention to file legal cases over the matter.
The pilgrims expressed outrage, stating that they had paid up to 1.2 million Pakistani rupees each for Hajj but were receiving substandard services in return. They complained of broken and uncomfortable beds, transport failing to arrive on time, and poor quality food — including meals that were burnt and inedible. Pilgrims lamented that they had been left completely on their own with no one to address their grievances or attend to their needs.
Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf, after hearing the complaints, assured the pilgrims that immediate action would be taken against those responsible for the poor arrangements and that all genuine grievances would be redressed without delay.
