According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Hayek was presented with a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army upon his arrival at GHQ.
During the meeting, both military leaders held wide-ranging discussions on matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation, and avenues for enhanced defence cooperation between the two countries.
Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to further expanding defence cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces, the ISPR statement said.
