ISLAMABAD۔ Following special directives from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Security Capt. (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider, the Islamabad Police Security Division has intensified security arrangements to ensure peace and order in the High-Security Zone (HSZ) of the federal capital.
Police officials are deployed round the clock to safeguard embassies, ambassadorial residences, United Nations offices, and key government installations located within the Diplomatic Enclave.
SSP Security Haider emphasized that strict vigilance is essential for the protection of all government and private institutions operating in the HSZ. He directed officers on duty to ensure comprehensive checks, including registration of all individuals entering the zone and thorough inspections of vehicles and motorcycles.
He further instructed that all government employees must carry valid departmental identification cards and cooperate with law enforcement officials during the search and registration process.
The SSP underlined that no negligence will be tolerated in the discharge of duties, while the police are utilizing all available resources to maintain law and order in the capital.
Citizens have also been urged to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity or persons via the Pucar-15 emergency helpline. The Islamabad Police reaffirmed that the protection of lives and property remains its foremost priority.
