LAHORE: The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has conducted a one-day Written Psychological Assessment for candidates competing for 14 posts of Tehsildar in the Board of Revenue, marking another stage in the recruitment process for one of the province’s key administrative positions.
The assessment was held at the PPSC Examination Centre in Johar Town, Lahore, under the supervision of Senior Psychologist Qudsia Nashee. Candidates from across Punjab participated in the evaluation process after successfully qualifying the written examination.
To ensure transparency, fairness and security, comprehensive arrangements were made at the examination centre. Mobile phone signal jammers and walk-through gates were installed, while administrative staff monitored the process throughout the day.
The commission also provided candidates with cold drinking water and other essential facilities. Seating arrangements were made for family members accompanying the candidates to ensure their convenience during the assessment.
Regional Incharge PPSC Lahore and Director Muhammad Ejaz Akbar supervised the overall arrangements and reviewed administrative measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the assessment.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Psychologist Qudsia Nashee said that candidates who complete the Written Psychological Assessment will proceed to the next stages of the selection process, including Group Activities, Psychological Interviews and the Final Interview.
According to PPSC officials, more than 30,000 candidates had applied for the 14 Tehsildar vacancies. Candidates were previously examined in subjects including General Knowledge, English Essay, Urdu Essay and Revenue Laws as part of the written examination phase.
Only those candidates who successfully qualified the written examination were invited to participate in the psychological assessment stage, which is designed to evaluate personality traits, decision-making abilities, leadership potential and suitability for public service responsibilities.
The recruitment process is being conducted to select qualified candidates capable of performing the administrative and revenue-related duties associated with the office of Tehsildar in Punjab.
