LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Housing Bilal Yasin participated in the Ghusl ceremony at the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) and reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to enhancing facilities for devotees and visitors at Data Darbar.
Speaking on the occasion, Bilal Yasin said that the teachings of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) promote the values of love, brotherhood, tolerance, and service to humanity. He described Data Darbar as a major center of spiritual blessings, peace, and harmony in the subcontinent.
“The Ghusl ceremony of Data Darbar symbolizes devotion, reverence, and spiritual attachment,” he said.
The minister stated that the Punjab Government is taking practical steps to ensure the best possible facilities for pilgrims and visitors. He noted that security arrangements, cleanliness, and administrative management at Data Darbar have been further strengthened to facilitate devotees.
Bilal Yasin emphasized that the teachings of Sufi saints play a vital role in fostering tolerance, unity, and brotherhood within society. He added that introducing the younger generation to the thoughts and teachings of Sufi saints is essential in the present era.
He further said that the Punjab Government is paying special attention to the development, preservation, and beautification of religious and spiritual centers across the province.
Special prayers were offered during the ceremony for the peace, progress, prosperity, and security of Pakistan.
Bilal Yasin stressed that preserving the spiritual traditions and heritage of Data Darbar is a collective responsibility and called upon all segments of society to contribute to safeguarding these values for future generations.
