KHANEWAL: Rehabilitation and upgradation work at Fazal Park and Nishat Lake has been accelerated under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s public-friendly vision.
As part of the development project, two acres of land at Fazal Park and Nishat Lake will be exclusively reserved for women. Modern recreational facilities, including a playland, washrooms, walking tracks, a boating area, a canteen and other amenities, will also be provided.

She said the rehabilitation and upgradation of the park and lake would provide citizens with improved recreational facilities and a better environment for families.
Work has also commenced on an urban forest project at the available space in Fazal Park, which is aimed at increasing greenery and improving the environment of the area.
