SAHIWAL: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Ayaz Saleem met Sahiwal Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail to review matters related to the case of a traffic police official who was martyred while performing his official duties.

Assistant Commissioner General Ghulam Hussain Bhatti was also present at the meeting.

The officers conducted a detailed review of the case, examining the relevant record as well as the legal and procedural requirements associated with the matter.

Following scrutiny of the available record and confirmation that the necessary legal requirements had been fulfilled, the case was approved by the competent authorities.

The meeting also covered various matters relating to the services rendered by the martyred official and the circumstances surrounding the incident that occurred during the performance of his duty. The case was reviewed from both administrative and legal perspectives to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.

Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail directed the concerned officers to complete all remaining formalities and proceedings within the stipulated timeframe and strictly in accordance with the prescribed rules.

He emphasized the importance of timely disposal of cases involving personnel who lose their lives while serving the public. He further directed the relevant departments to maintain effective coordination and avoid unnecessary delays in completing official documentation and other required procedures.

RPO Muhammad Ayaz Saleem briefed the commissioner on the relevant aspects of the case and the progress made so far.

The meeting concluded with directions to the concerned officials to complete the remaining legal and administrative requirements promptly, ensuring that the case was handled transparently and in accordance with established government procedures.
