HAFIZABAD: Deputy Commissioner Bahadur Ali Shah has said that it is the prime responsibility of all government departments to ensure maximum relief to people at their doorsteps under the people-friendly initiatives of the Punjab government.
Addressing a meeting of district heads of various departments, the Deputy Commissioner directed all officers to improve the performance of their respective departments and ensure better service delivery to strengthen public confidence in the government.
He said that all officers and officials must work as a team for the betterment of citizens in line with the relief-oriented vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, heads of various departments briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the performance and ongoing activities of their respective departments.
The DC said he would personally monitor the pace of development projects and the performance of government departments to ensure the early completion of ongoing schemes and provision of maximum relief to the public.
He also directed the officers to resolve public complaints and problems at the earliest and ensure effective delivery of government services.
