Lahore – A vehicle in the security convoy of Supreme Court Judge Justice Ayesha A. Malik overturned near Kala Shah Kaku on Sunday, leaving five Elite Force personnel injured.
According to police, the incident occurred while Justice Malik was traveling from Islamabad to Lahore. One of the escort vehicles suffered a tire burst at high speed, causing the driver to lose control, and the vehicle overturned.
The injured officers include Umar, Abdullah, and Mubashir, three of whom are reported to be in critical condition and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police officials confirmed that Justice Ayesha Malik remained unharmed in the incident and was escorted safely to her destination under tight security.
