New York – Following visits to Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for the United States on a five-day official trip.
During the visit, he will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), where he is expected to highlight human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and Palestine. His speech will also cover issues of regional security, climate change challenges, and Pakistan’s policy measures to address them.
Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to meet U.S. President Donald Trump, alongside selected leaders from Islamic countries. He is also expected to hold a series of sideline meetings with heads of friendly states and other key international figures.
