Cheltenham A&E service becomes minor injuries unit during strike
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: “Community Minor Injury and Illness Units and GP practices across the county will continue to provide services and if people have an urgent care need, but are not sure which service to use, they are asked to visit 111.nhs.uk in the first instance or call 111 for advice.”

Cancer patient furious as resident doctors strike delays appointment
A Department for Health and Social Care spokesperson said doctors had been offered a “generous deal”, which coincided with the government accepting the recommendations of the independent pay review body that all doctors, including resident doctors, previously known as junior doctors, should get a 3.5% pay rise from this month.
