Sydney — Former Australia cricket captain Michael Clarke has revealed that he has once again been diagnosed with skin cancer.
In a social media post, Clarke disclosed that a new lesion had appeared on his nose, which doctors confirmed was a sign of recurring skin cancer.
Offering advice to fans and the public, the 43-year-old urged people to undergo regular skin checks, saying, “Prevention is better than cure.” He added that timely diagnosis and medical check-ups had been crucial in his case.
Clarke was previously diagnosed with early signs of skin cancer a few years ago but did not immediately make his condition public at the time.
One of Australia’s most celebrated cricketers, Clarke represented his country in 115 Test matches, 245 ODIs, and 34 T20 internationals, leading the team to numerous victories during his captaincy.
