LAHORE: Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry has announced that the training camps of Punjab teams for preparation of the 35th National Games will commence from November 24.
He shared this information while presiding over an important meeting at the National Hockey Stadium on Monday. The meeting reviewed the preparations for the upcoming 35th National Games, scheduled to be held in Karachi from December 6 to 13, 2025.
Addressing the meeting, DG Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry said that the Punjab contingent will depart for Karachi on December 4 to participate in the National Games. “Punjab athletes will take part in the event with full preparation and determination,” he asserted.
He added that expert coaches will provide high-level training to both male and female athletes during the camps, while the Sports Board Punjab will ensure the best facilities for all participating players.
The DG further stated that the country’s top teams will compete in the 35th edition of the National Games, expressing confidence that Punjab’s contingent will deliver outstanding performances in the multi-sport event.
Director Sports Rana Nadeem Anjum, Director Admin Abid Shaukat, Deputy Director Chand Perveen, Deputy Director Yasmeen Akhtar, Assistant Director Bilal Akram, and Nabil Akram attended the meeting.
