LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, held a detailed interaction with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office (CPO) Lahore, where he listened to their concerns and issued immediate directives for timely redressal.
According to official details, the IG Punjab reviewed several individual cases and passed orders for swift administrative relief.
For Sub-Inspector Ali Akbar’s promotion request, Dr. Usman Anwar directed the Additional IG Punjab to ensure prompt action.
Similarly, for Head Constable Muhammad Siddiq’s promotion case, instructions were issued to the DIG Establishment-II for necessary relief.
Addressing Lady Constable Shagufta Rani’s request for exemption from a mandatory training course, the IG instructed the DIG Establishment-II to facilitate her accordingly.
In the case of Senior Clerk Azhar-ul-Zaman’s transfer request, the IG directed the AIG Admin & Security to take immediate steps for relief.
For Sub-Inspector Faiz-ul-Hassan, the IG again directed the Additional IG Punjab to ensure due consideration of his promotion matter.
The Inspector General also issued on-the-spot instructions regarding issues related to discipline, administration, welfare, and career progression of the police force.
