LAHORE: The Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA) Lahore has completed all arrangements for the Annual Chrysanthemum Exhibition at Jailani Park, with the Oval Ground transformed into a vibrant display of color and fragrance. A total of 15,000 chrysanthemum plants and an equal number of marigold flowers—spanning over 200 varieties—have been artistically arranged for the event.
Managing Director PHA Raja Mansoor Ahmed, during a visit to Jailani Park, announced that the exhibition will be formally inaugurated today (Thursday) at 7:00 PM. Senior officials Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha and Ahmed Saeed Manj accompanied him, while Horticulture Director Waqar Rehman briefed the team on the preparations.
According to the MD, this year’s exhibition encourages a competitive environment among participants, including Bagh-e-Jinnah, Zone 5 Gulberg, Jailani Park, H.E.C. College, GC University, and Millat Tractors. Key attractions include the Snow Corner, Floral Houses, Qafal Gate, selfie points, an elite corridor, peacock-themed displays, food and beverage stalls, Mughal-style gates, floral guard fountains, and creative decorative pieces.
Food stalls have also been set up to enhance visitors’ experience. Special arrangements, such as the presence of two Mughal courtiers, add a historical touch, making the entire park a picturesque spot for photography lovers.
In the “city of gardens,” the Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025 has once again brought a festive ambiance to Jailani Park. More than 30,000 potted flowers—including 15,000 chrysanthemums and 15,000 marigolds—are captivating citizens with their diverse colors and varieties.
The grand inauguration on December 4 will be performed by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The exhibition, which showcases innovation and artistic creativity, will continue for one week. PHA and partner institutions—Bagh-e-Jinnah, Zone 5 Gulberg, H.E.C. College, GC University—and corporate participants like Millat Tractors have contributed to the floral preparations and competitions. Floral art stalls and branded food outlets, including Second Cup, are also part of the event’s attractions.
