According to a report by Bloomberg, Türkiye aims to deepen its defence partnership with Pakistan by not only collaborating on the production of combat drones inside Pakistan but also by bringing Pakistan into its advanced fighter aircraft program.
The report states that:
Türkiye is looking to expand defence-industrial cooperation with Pakistan as part of its long-term strategic vision.
Under an existing joint production agreement, Türkiye is already working on the manufacturing of warships for the Pakistan Navy.
The proposal to involve Pakistan in Türkiye’s fighter jet project is seen as a step toward strengthening bilateral defence ties and enhancing Pakistan’s access to next-generation aviation technologies.
Defence analysts note that such cooperation could significantly boost Pakistan’s domestic military production capabilities while supporting Türkiye’s ambition to position itself as a major global defence manufacturer.
