LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected office-bearers of the Lahore Press Club (LPC), praising the institution’s longstanding and influential role in Pakistan’s political and journalistic landscape.
In a congratulatory message, she congratulated President Arshad Ansari, Secretary Afzal Talib, and the Journalists Panel on their success in the LPC elections. She also congratulated Senior Vice President Salman Qureshi, stating that his victory reflects the strong confidence and trust of the journalist community.
Azma Bokhari offered special congratulations to Vice Presidents Madiha Almas and Nasira Ateeq, noting that the decisive election of two women journalists is a positive and encouraging development. She said their success is a clear endorsement of women’s professional capabilities and growing leadership role in the field of journalism.
