MADRID (News Agencies) Spain has made a significant decision to grant legal status to 500,000 undocumented migrants.
Spanish Minister for Migration Elma Saiz stated that individuals benefiting from this decision will be able to work in any part of the country and in any sector.
The minister clarified that those who have been residing in Spain for at least 5 months can avail this facility. However, applicants must have a clean criminal record.
This decision will also apply to their children. The government says this measure will help strengthen the country’s economy and meet labor market needs.
