Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a reduction of Rs 4.04 per unit in electricity rates for industrial consumers.
The move was warmly welcomed by Provincial Minister for Energy Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, who said in an official statement that the reduction will provide significant relief to the industrial sector and marks an important step towards industrial revival and economic stability.
Faisal Khokhar highlighted that lower electricity rates will reduce production costs, support higher exports, and promote industrial growth, while also generating new employment opportunities nationwide.
