Following a suicide blast inside an Imambargah in Islamabad, all hospitals across Rawalpindi have been placed on high alert.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that 25 emergency ambulances have been immediately dispatched to Islamabad, while all public and private hospitals in the Rawalpindi district are fully prepared to handle casualties.
She added that surgical teams are on full standby, and blood banks and operation theaters are ready to provide all necessary medical care to the injured.
The Chief Minister also directed the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Rawalpindi to provide full support and resources to ensure prompt and effective emergency response.
