LAHORE: Punjab Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by Fitna-e-Khawarij along the Pak-Afghan border, warning that any aggression against Pakistan will be met with a decisive and crushing response.
In her statement, Bokhari said that hostile elements are attempting to destabilise Pakistan’s peace and security, but such actions can never weaken the nation’s resolve. She paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army for its immediate and lethal counter-response against the Khawarij and their handlers, saying that the brave sons of the soil possess every capability to eliminate the enemy along with its nefarious designs.
Bokhari issued a stern warning to those threatening Pakistan, saying they should remember May 2025. “Pakistan is a peace-loving yet dignified nation, fully vigilant about its defence. We know very well how to defend ourselves and how to respond to the enemy in its own language,” she asserted.
She further stated that the Khawarij, their forefathers, and their facilitators had faced defeat in the past and would continue to do so, adding that the retaliatory force of the Pakistan Army would be remembered by the Khawarij and their handlers for generations to come.
The Provincial Information Minister reaffirmed that the entire nation stands like a wall of steel with the Pakistan Army under all circumstances — whether it is a battle of narratives or a battlefield confrontation, victory will belong to Pakistan. She reiterated that there will be no compromise on national security, sovereignty, or defence, and that anti-Pakistan forces will face defeat on every front.
Condolences on Passing of HUM TV Chairman
Azma Bokhari also expressed profound grief over the passing of Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui, Chairman of HUM TV, calling him a dignified and highly capable personality whose professional contributions to Pakistan’s media industry will always be remembered. She extended heartfelt condolences to Sultana Siddiqui on the loss of her brother and prayed for the elevation of the departed soul and fortitude for the bereaved family. She added that the Government of Punjab stands with the mourning family in this hour of grief.
