American political commentator and journalist Tucker Carlson has claimed that authorities in Saudi Arabia and Qatar have arrested Israeli Mossad agents who were allegedly planning bomb attacks inside those countries — a bombshell allegation that has sent shockwaves across the already volatile Middle East.
During a recent broadcast widely shared across social media on Monday, Carlson said, “Last night in both Qatar and Saudi Arabia, authorities arrested Mossad agents planning on committing bombings.” He added, “They wanted to diminish the Persian Gulf, and in two days they have.” (Wikipedia)
The allegations suggest that the operatives were planning false-flag bombing attacks intended to destabilize the region — allegedly to turn Gulf countries against Iran during the intense aerial campaign by the U.S. and Israel against Iran. According to Carlson, intelligence services in Riyadh and Doha coordinated to detain the Israeli agents. He framed the alleged arrests as a turning point in regional security, saying Gulf nations are increasingly willing to push back against Israeli intelligence operations. (AL-Monitor)
Carlson questioned Israel’s motives, asking: “Why would the Israelis be committing bombings in Gulf countries, which are also being attacked by Iran? Aren’t they on the same side?” He then answered his own question, stating: “Israel wants to hurt Iran — and Qatar, and the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, and Oman and Kuwait.”
