Tehran/Islamabad: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a telephone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, discussing the current regional situation and matters of mutual concern.
According to Iranian state media, President Pezeshkian emphasized during the call that Iran has absolutely no intention of entering into any conflict with other countries in the region, reaffirming Tehran’s commitment to regional peace and stability.
The Iranian president also cautioned that if the international community continues to ignore those responsible for wars and conflicts, the global order and international security could face grave and far-reaching consequences.
Both leaders stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and diplomatic cooperation in light of ongoing regional tensions, reaffirming their countries’ shared interest in peaceful resolution of disputes.
