Pennsylvania’s West Suburban squad snagged the Little League Softball World Series 2025 title over the weekend, setting the stage for the Glenmoore Eagle baseball squad seeking their own World Series crown.
The West Suburban LL squad from Johnstown, representing the Mid-Atlantic region, earned Pennsylvania’s second-ever title in the LLSW, and the first in the state since 1978. The Cambria County team recorded four consecutive shutout wins in the tournament, concluding Aug. 10 with their championship win over Floyd Knobs, Indiana, which represented the Central region.

Did Johnstown PA win Little League Softball World Series 2025?
Yes. The West Suburban Little League squad from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, won the 2025 Little League Softball World Series on Sunday, Aug. 10, snapping a 47-year drought when Shippensburg accomplished the feat in 1978. Pennsylvania defeated Floyds Knobs, Indiana, with a final score of 1-0.
Johnstown’s Reagan Bills had double impact in the game, driving in the only run of the contest, while also pitching another complete game shutout.
Little League Softball World Series 2025 bracket
The Johnstown, Pennsylvania, softball squad had an impressive Mid-Atlantic Tournament run leading up to the 2025 Little League Softball World Series championship game. The team from Cambria County went 4-0 in the Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament, winning 5-4 over Delaware on July 25. Is Glenmoore Eagle in the Little League World Series?
Yes. Pennsylvania’s Glenmoore Eagle Little League squad beat Maryland’s Montgomery County LL team 7-1 in the Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament championship game on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025. Glenmoore Eagle will now represent the Mid-Atlantic Region in the 2025 Little League World Series.
When does the Little League World Series start?
The 2025 Little League World Series is set to begin Aug. 13 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The tournament features 38 games spread across 10 days, broadcast on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. This year, there are 10 U.S. teams representing different regions, and 10 international teams across the globe. The U.S. and International championship games are on Saturday, Aug. 23. The winners of those games will advance to the Little League World Series 2025 championship game on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 3 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
When does Pennsylvania play in the Little League World Series?
Glenmoore Eagle LL will play their first game in the 2026 Little League World Series at 7 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Aug. 14. They will play against Sioux Falls Little League from South Dakota, who has made four trips to the LLWS since 2017, including last year. However, a team from South Dakota has never won the Little League World Series.

How old are Little League World Series players?
The Little League Baseball World Series only permits playersaged 10 to 12. The birthday cutoff is Aug. 31, so all players in the 2025 LLWS must be born betweenAug. 31, 2013 and Aug. 31, 2015. This wasn’t always the case; prior to 2018, players aged 13 were allowed to play in the LLWS. In 2015, the LLWS organizing body implemented anew changethat pushed the age determination date from April 30 to Aug. 31, preventing anyone who turns 13 during the baseball season from playing in the major division.
How many innings in the LLWS?
In the Little League World Series, each game consists of six innings, which is slighter shorter than collegiate and professional baseball games, which are nine innings.
