Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, held a significant meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad on Saturday evening.

The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, National Security Adviser Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatimi were also present.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly received the Saudi Foreign Minister and conveyed his sincere greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s full and unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister commended the Kingdom’s extraordinary restraint during the ongoing regional crisis and assured that Pakistan will always stand firmly by Saudi Arabia’s side.
The Prime Minister recalled his recent conversations with the Crown Prince, including a key meeting held in Jeddah on March 12, and briefed the Saudi Foreign Minister on Pakistan’s broad-based diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and bringing the United States and Iran to the negotiating table.
Emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s pivotal leadership role in the Muslim world, the Prime Minister underscored the urgent need for unity among Islamic nations at this critical juncture.
The Saudi Foreign Minister thanked the Prime Minister and briefed him on the Kingdom’s position regarding the evolving regional situation.
Both nations agreed to continue close coordination and joint diplomatic efforts in pursuit of lasting peace and stability across the region.
